I have nothing fiber related to post about *dodges tomatoes*, but I'm binding off a new project and have been done with another for about 6 weeks (my photographer cough my mom cough is on a business trip, so I won't have photos soon).  But I do have something semi-artsy to post about!

I was Zazu in a school play of The Lion King.  It was probably the worst play of The Lion King ever been done.  I'm not kidding.  We started singing The Circle of Life, and our back poster fell down, the script was missing the majority of the second half of the story (Nala came out of nowhere), and Mufasa rolled off an 8 inch stage and died.  Just to name a few.
But believe me, it was fun none the less.
I thought the makeup folks would enjoy seeing my Zazu makeup.  I love doing costume makeup (turning into a zombie is fun.)

Have you ever woken up in the middle of the night and thought,I wonder what I look like with a beehive hairdo!

I know that I at least can say that I've gone through a similar experience multiple times.  Don't judge. And thanks to Rookie...
Why, yes, that is me at 7:00 AM on a Sunday morning, rocking a beehive.  Why do you ask?

I like ice cream.  Who doesn't like ice cream?
Has anybody else tried Coconut Bliss?  It's a really yummy ice cream made from coconut milk.
It's especially yummy with strawberries.

Perhaps some of you remember the Easter egg "incident" last year.  My mom was a tad bit hesitant, but tradition prevailed and we dyed eggs.

Boiling (for long enough this time)

Pretty!
But are they actually hard boiled this time?  Let's see...
Success!  It's solid!

I procrastinate.  And stall.  To a great extent.  Even when I knit.
I LOVE this sweater that I've been working on.  And I've been working on it for months.  To be completely and utterly honest, I'm at the boring sleeve stage where it's easy, straight knitting with a few decreases.  I may or may not be putting it off.........

A few weeks ago, my grandparents went on a trip for their 50th anniversary to Australia and New Zealand.  It must be grandparents' nature to spoil their grandkids, and they brought my brothers and I souvenirs back.
Yay, striped socks!  One is always in need of a nice pair of socks (Albus Dumbledore thinks so, at least.)  Wait a second, what does the tag say?
In case you were wondering, yes.  These socks are made from common merino sheep, and opossum fur.
They're a tad bit large, though I've always had tiny feet for someone my height.
They keep my piggies warm!

Yesterday, perhaps dreaming of the cool ocean on a hot day, I crocheted a squid.
If anybody wants to test the pattern, feel free to contact me by leaving a comment or sending a note on Ravelry.  :)

I've been en pointe for about three years now.
Here is a picture of my foot in my nearly brand new Chacotts.  (For those unfamiliar with pointe shoes, pointe shoes are kind of like yarn in a sense that all brands and styles are different.  Chacotts are very soft shoes.)

My feet are way to strong for soft shoes, and although the near dead box did strengthen my toes, there's no way they can support my feet anymore.  You can see my feet knuckling very badly in even the picture.
Now I'm wearing Russian Pointes, which are near opposites of Chacotts, and I think I'm in Heaven.  Yaaaaayyyy!
